tHE BLU-RAY FROM SCORPION
LOS MONSTRUOS DEL TERROR was Naschy's second release in the Waldemar Daninsky saga. For many years this title was available in poor quality, full frame versions. Then widescreen framed releases began to appear in Germany and France. Finally, Scorpion Releasing introduced the film as a Blu-Ray release in America in excellent picture quality and proper framing,
This film has several titles. It is commonly known in the States as ASSIGNMENT TERROR. Another title here is DRACULA VS. FRANKENSTEIN, but there are other films known by this title. The original Spanish title is LOS MONSTRUOS DEL TERROR, in English, THE MONSTERS OF TERROR.
For those interested, the best version in the States is the Scorpion one, distributed by Ronin. Scenes that were murky, can now be seen in crystal clarity. The producer of this version is Walter Olsen, with assistance from Mirek Lipinski and John Bernhard, with extra help from Don Cunningham. All Blu-Ray captures are from Don Cunningham.
